Living Trust, Estate Planning, Estate Taxes

The advantages of purchasing your Living Trust online.

Purchasing a Living Trust online from the National Center for the Avoidance of Probate has many advantages over purchasing from a local attorney. NCAP trust documents are constructed with the same individual care of a local attorney and delivery of your trust documents is guaranteed usually within just a few days of the time you order them. You can have a Living Trust organized, in place, and working for you within five or six days after placing your order while saving usually 75-80 percent over the cost of an attorney-drawn trust. Usually it can take three or four weeks just getting an appointment with a local attorney.

As a client you immediately come under the protective wing of NCAP for the remainder of your life. Answers to your questions are just an e-mail or phone call away. A competent staff stands by Monday through Saturday waiting to help you over a toll free line. Your call goes immediately to someone that can help you; there are no automated operators asking you to push the numbers. Important changes in trust laws affecting your trust are in your hands usually within seven days after the change becomes law. Personal changes to your trust contract can be made in just hours. On the other hand, a local attorney can take several days just to return your phone call.

But what about a guarantee?

There is a great deal of misinformation and rumor that circulates regarding the purchase of merchandise and services on the Internet. However, if you follow two cardinal rules, Internet purchasing can not only be as safe as buying from your neighborhood pharmacy, you will also receive a built-in, ironclad guarantee!

Rule No. 1

Always make sure your are purchasing over a secured Internet connection. Secured Internet Connections are issued only to responsible Internet merchants that have undergone a thorough investigation by a bonding company.

Rule No. 2:

Whenever possible, pay with a credit card. Admittedly, this flies in the face of those familiar with a host of rumors but unfamiliar with true credit card laws and customs. Thus, remember that when you order over a secured Internet Connection, the encrypted information is useless to anyone other than yourself and the bonded merchant with whom you are dealing.

Equally important is the fact that because you are purchasing unseen merchandise and services, credit card regulations give you a built-in money-back guarantee from the credit card company.

That regulation states that if you are dissatisfied with the merchandise when it arrives or at anytime in the future, you need only call the credit card company to receive an almost immediate credit to your account. Thus, unlike a store-purchased product or service, your Internet guarantee is for the life of the product!

The credit card company then debits the account of the merchant who is left holding the well-known bag for selling shoddy merchandise.

When you pay by check, the transaction and merchandise shipment is not only delayed by a few days, you are also on your own when it comes to receiving a refund. The credit card company won’t help you and you must take on a merchant located perhaps a thousand miles or more away who may well be an expert at dodging dissatisfied customers. Thus, paying by credit card is always the preferred and safe way on the Internet.

Local attorneys are usually very reluctant to adjust the cost of your trust should you be dissatisfied with it. They will either drag their feet or insist that you as the client simply do not understand how the trust works. With NCAP a simple note to the credit card company and your refund will be credited to your account with 30 days.
